Adventures in baking parts 1, 2 and 3

A few weeks ago while on a trip back from Monterey, we stopped at a fruit stand and I picked up a bag of apples and thought of no other way of using them than an apple pie. Since then I have made 2 more pies. I started with a classic brown sugar apple pie, then over thanksgiving weekend I made a open faced apple-pear pie and a apple-pear crumble pie. They were all more than bombtastic!!

Das Experi-mant

In the beginning of October, Michelle invited me to her Fall Party, and in the invitation she had a sheet of seeds in paper. It was kinda rad and had directions with it saying to plant the whole paper in about 1 1/2 inch of soil and keep it moist. I think I planted them in the middle to end of October, and have taken pictures every so often, just to watch the shiz grow. Its pretty rad watching something grow that you have planted from just a piece of paper.
